Fine

Modern and attractive self-promotional cards by Celeste Prevost, a designer/illustrator out of Minneapolis. Love that black-on-black type in what looks like a glossy aqueous spot.

Twisted Pair

click for a larger view » Gorgeous design for Twisted Pair, a technology company out of Chicago. Design by Anthony Zinni I can’t tell from the photo if these are foil stamped or not. Totally should be, that would, you know, make it look even more like a circuit board. And imagine if it truly [...]

psdGraphics

This is a disastrous mixture of templated design and Photoshop gymnastics. Yes, this card is actually available for you to order and I can only assume that some people use it. Guru Unleashed is the place to get your awesome cards. Complete with Arial type.

Ninja Stars as Business Cards?

Spotted these online and had to wonder why? Even if the owner is in the business of selling martial arts weapons, these aren’t terribly practical. From the photo, it doesn’t appear that they are made of razor-sharp metal, and I find the blood to be simply corny. Boo. via ag design »

Omid Sadri

Functional business cards are clever. This one from industrial designer Omid Sadri doubles as a flossing device for those awkward moments when you’ve got something in between your teeth. Nice. There’s also another version that instructs you use the tear-off part to discard your gum. via Core77 »

Sergio Delgado

Lovely design for Sergio Delgado. Dig that last-century look of the knackered old toe tag. But I dunno if it fits well as a photographic artist? Seems more appropriate for an antique dealer, or maybe a funeral parlor — although that would be downright macabre.

MassEnvelope Plus

Card in an envelope for an envelope company. Makes sense to me.

Black Napkin

The cleverness of this card is obvious — culinary consultant, he brings his own flatware right there in the metal business card. But there’s just one problem, this entire concept is a rip-off of that belonging to world-famous convicted hacker-turned-security-consultant Kevin Mitnick. Mitnick, being a well-known Internet personality, has had his cards floating around on [...]
