Business Card Etiquette

Yes, she’s serious. I’d heard this before in my travels, but in the world of networking 2.0 where you’re basically just taking the card so you can track someone down on Twitter, I think we’re a little more informal now.

This is a bit much. Anyone that uptight about which had you give a business card in isn’t going to be a pleasant person to work with.

Did she REALLY say that putting a business card in a back pocket then sitting on it was considered bad, like “sitting on a person’s face”?

What she should have said is that “it’s like shoving that person up your ass”, which is a little more insulting.
